How does this work?
Once you have registered for the panel, you will be able to review the assigned study material. Once you have completed reviewing the victim impact video, you will have access to a 10 question quiz that you must receive a 100% score to pass. You may take this quiz as many times as needed until you have received a passing score. Once you have passed the test, you will receive a verification letter on our letterhead via email within 24 hours. You also have an option to receive your verification letter via email within an hour of completion and a hard copy via regular mail. You may turn this letter into the judge, attorney, probation officer or sponsor to receive credit for the panel.
How long before I can access the panel?
You will receive an access code for the panel automatically via email once you have paid your registration fee.
How soon can I receive my verification letter?
You will receive your initial victim impact letter via email within 24 hours of passing the quiz. If you choose the panel plus option, you can receive this electronic copy within 1 hour. You will also receive a letter via standard mail that can take between 7-10 business days to arrive - but should arrive within 2-5 business days.
Will there be any additional costs for mailing my verification letter?
No. All costs are included in the price to access the panel.
How long does it take to complete the panel?
Most individuals complete the panel within 1-2 hours. You may pause and come back to the panel whenever you need to. We suggest that you bookmark the panel page so that you may access it at any time.
Will my verification letter be accepted?
98% of US counties accept our verification letter. Click here to view a list of counties that DO NOT accept our panel. We advise you to contact your attorney, parole officer or sponsor to determine if our program is acceptable for your county. We provide verification services via direct mail, phone, and fax.
What if my verification letter is not accepted?
In extremely rare circumstances, your county may not accept online completed panels. If you have completed our panel but was later told that it could not be accepted, simply click here to request a refund. Refunds are verified in your district and are processed within 24 hours. It can take up to 5-10 business days to show up on your statement.
Do I have to pass the test the first time?
No. You may take the quiz as many times as you need to pass for up to 30 days. Individuals found submitting random answers to the quiz may be contacted via phone or email to set up a proctored quiz to ensure that the panel has been watched. We suggest that you watch the entire panel and take notes before attempting to take the quiz.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $35-$45 to access and complete online victim impact panel.
